RELEASE: In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators waive and release any and all rights and claim for damages I may have against the Cochrane Rotary Youth Talent Festival, its agents, representatives, successor and assignees for any and all illnesses, injuries and/or losses suffered by me at or through the above mentioned events. I also agree to let CRYTF and its promoters to use my name, and picture for future advertising and information at Festival and in Social Media.

Can I pay for registration with my credit card?

CRYTF uses PayPal to process all credit card payments.
You can use the form here to register.

  • Once you reach the PayPal portal, you can choose the option “Don’t have a PayPal Account”
  • Fill out all the requested fields and click ‘Pay’
  • By completing the above, you are not joining PayPal, this is just the medium we use in order to process credit cards.

Once you have paid, you will be re-directed back to the CRYTF website after about 5 secs.

Will there be a piano?

Yes.  A piano will be provided.

Will there be a sound system available to use?

Yes. We will provide a stand up and a hand held microphone. Please notify us of any special requests prior to the festival.

Can I use a CD or media player for my performance?

All backup music must be submitted prior to festival. MP3 files can be sent diectly to registration@cochraneyouthtalent.ca. Hard copy recordings can be dropped off at the Cochrane Toyota reception desk in the week prior to the festival. They will be returned on your performance date.

What time will I perform?

All registrations are classed by type, age and experience (as available).
Once we have arranged the various classes, you will be notified of when and where you will be performing.
*We would appreciate people making the effort to attend a daytime sessions, as our evenings are gerenally busier.

Can I perform more than once?

Yes, you can. Please register separately for each entry.

Can we film our take pictures of performances?

Parents are welcome to photograph their children, however, filming or taking pictures of other performers, or performances, is strickly prohibited without permission.

What should I wear to adjudications?

Wear what you would normally wear for your performance. If your act requires or is enhanced by a costume, use it!

Can my parents and/or my teacher come to the adjudications?

Yes, they are welcome to join, but they will be limited to a spectator role.

Do I have to stay for the entire performance?

Performances take place in classes.
Your class (usually 8 entries or so) will enter the judging area as a group and perform one at time.
Once performances have begun, no one will be permitted to enter or leave the staging area.

May I bring food into the performance area?

Bottled water is welcome.
